What can we do to help our family members who have mental issues

Hello, I  am talking to you reading this post, what are you doing right now to make sure your family member doesn’t join another cult similar to the Pathways Cult. If your family member ( son, daughter, niece, nephew, mother, father, uncle, aunt, sister, cousin, in-law came to you a few months ago and told you they are joining the Pathways “church”, would you have recognized any red flags in their behavior that would suggest they are having mental issues? Would you be able to help them seek help for their mental issues? Are you someone that family member can turn to when they need someone to talk to? Would you be bold enough to seek professional help for that family member? What can we do now to prevent another cult from taking our family members? What are we doing wrong Montego Bay?

Mental Illness Epidemic in Jamaica

There is a mental illness epidemic in Jamaica. I have been talking about this for some years now. Pathways cult ( it is not a church) is just the beginning. Open up your eyes fellow Jamaicans. This is not a joke. Many people won’t realize how serious this is until it affects your own family. Pathways Cult represented an escape from reality for the people who were involved. Don’t laugh at them. Go check on your family members.

Jamaicans Need More Access To Mental Healthcare

You know how you have a shop or rum bar at every corner in Jamaica, imagine if you had a clinic on every corner, where someone could talk to a nurse/ therapist/ mediation counselor/ psychiatrist. Jamaicans need more access to healthcare as well as mental healthcare.
